Busy little bees tattooing over here in East Boston… There’s been alot of cover up tattoos coming through the shop lately which is fine with us, along with traditional, japanese color, script and black and grey tattoo as well. 3rd Annual Board Swap | Gloucester Massachusetts Surfboard swap
We are Glad to be a part of Twin Light Glassing‘s 3rd annual Board Swap! This will be an awesome event. Come check out Surfboards/Paddleboards people have for sale. There will be New Boards and Gear Available for sale too! Bring your used gear , Board bags, Paddles, leashes, Fins, Wetsuits, skim boards, boogie boards, handplanes, skateboards etc. Last year we had about 200 people, 100 boards and tons of fun. This is a day to chat with other surfers and meet new friends. The event is also Great for kids looking for their first board. This Event was a Huge Success last year so Dont miss out! See you there! And bring CASH!!!
We will be there doing Demo’s of Carver Skateboards (they’ll also be for sale) – the ultimate surf trainer!! Refreshments will be provided by Hint Water and we’ll also be showing off some wetsuits O’neill and Body Glove has cooked up to keep you nice and warm next winter — and giving deals for preorders on said goods too!! And boards…it is a board swap of course!!! We’ll have our credit card reader with us to keep it nice and convienent also… see you there!!

Rhode Island Tattoo Expo 2013
Made the trip from Boston this past weekend at the 2013 Rhode Island Tattoo Expo. Our 5 year old son won the Punks for a Princess coloring contest on Saturday evening, so yes we brought home some gold!! and Carissa made some fun tattoos!!
We caught up with some friends from Sin Alley, Royal tattoo and holdfast machining. We were also lucky enough to spend some fancy time with Kevin Borowski from Iron Hand Tattoo and the amazingly bearded Ron Henry Wells, And also bumped into the lovely Dia Moeller and black and grey wizard Carl Grace

TATTOOFEST 2013 | TAMPA FLORIDA TATTOO CONVENTION RECAP
Well another tattoo convention in the books! Tattoofest 2013 we came, we tattooed, we came home. It was a great time in the booth with Mark Longnecker and Jimmy South from Endless Summer Tattoo, Kyle Miller from On Point Ink and Chris Slota from Rockabilly Tattoo. Mark took home a trophy with his “only Dave Navarro can judge me” piece and Jimmy South got robbed on tattoo of the day for the skin rip he got on his inner thigh!!! (pic is in the slideshow). Carissa had the honor to sit in Bowery Stan’s chair and get tattooed, it was kinda crazy to get tattooed by Stan with Crazy Philadelphia Eddie Funk looking over his shoulder watching….even crazier when he cleaned it with alcohol!!
We made a bunch of new friends, picked up some new books and bought some new prints to proudly display in the shop. The show featured suspension shows, classic cars, live music, vendors and artists from all over….see you next year!!
Tampa Tattoo Convention | Tattoofest 2013
Carissa will be headed down to Tampa next week for the Tattoofest tattoo convention. The show starts on Thursday April 11th and runs til Sunday April 14th. Looks like it’s gonna be a good show. We survived the great blizzard of 2013 | Boston Blizzard
Well, we survived/ate our way through the great blizzard of 2013. We broke out our shovels and forks, piled the snow and stuffed our faces. We surfed some big icy waves when we could finally get on the road. So we’re back to regular operating hours and regular eating practices (the 3 day long eating binge is over!) Here are a few pics from the storm – mostly from our neighborhood because we couldn’t get out!! but hey our hometown made the front page of the new york times

Happy belated new year all! We’re kickin off the new year on the right foot. Just got back to Boston from Puerto Rico, saw our friends at Senzala Tattoo and La Ocho Surf. Enjoyed some sunshine, rum drinks and good food.
