Norwegian Airlines is now flying non-stop from Logan Airport in Boston to Fort De FranceMartinique, so we decided to check it out! Flights were very inexpensive, but you get nothing with the cheap fare, no bags, no food, not even a glass of water. We packed very light -we carried on our ebag tls Mother lode Weekender Convertable ) I can’t say enough good about this bag, but thats a story for another day!) – it’s only a 4.5 hr flight, so pack some snacks in your carry on or pay for snacks on the plane (with your credit card of course! no cash accepted) Continue reading →
While we are a Tattoo Surf and Skate shop, we have, are and will be doing quite a bit of traveling. We are planning some changes to our blog. We will be incorporating some travel blog material to our site including reccomendations, photos and tips for travel and places we have traveled to. Basically documenting the good, the bad and the ugly of our travels. We’re constantly asked about the places we travel to and we’d like to share our experiences with the world. Don’t worry, we’ll still be posting about rad tattoos, guest tattoo artists, local events and local surfing as well!!
We’re re-stocked with all the winter cold water surfing accesories you’ll need to surf the waters around Boston and beyond. 7mm mittens and boots from o’neill, cold water wax as well as leashes, traction, ding repair, custom surfboards and more! The Cold is coming!
We made a quick jaunt down to Rincon, P.R. from Boston this past weekend to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. We flew into San Juan, had our ritual lunch at Mi Casita and then headed out to La8 Surf Shop. As usual Peter at La8 took really good care of us, i highly recommend checking out this shop if your in San Juan, even if you don’t surf you can pick up a pair of reefs, some board shorts, a rash guard or even some shades!
Next we were on our way down rt2 to Rincon, We made a sunset stop in Aguadilla to check out Surfers Beach, then back on the road to our final destination Hotel Villa Confresi. Nice hotel RIGHT on the beach, with a lively bar and pool.
Surfed some waist + waves at Marias and Domes. When we were done at Marias we picked up some artwork from a local artist IKE (pronounced e-kay) ike is usually posted up right at the entrance to marias where the road splits and you can continue down to domes or head up the hill.
We had a great lechon plate at el Fogon de la Curva, it’s a little ways outside rincon on rt115 in Anasco. Great food, great views and run by a very nice family…another highly recomended stop in the Rincon area

So, first off we would like to personally say THANK YOU to everyone for the continuous support over the past 5 years!!!! Wave n Pave would NOT exist without you! We are truly grateful for your business, and most importantly the friendships we have made and look forward to continue bringing you quality service, surf & skate supplies and tattoos for years to come! ♥
Needless to say the past 5 years has been a wild ride, we opened a shop, renovated a shop, moved a shop(and added tattooing to it), had partners, lost partners, learned some lessons (some the hard way) had children, hosted party’s, skaters edge trips, beach clean ups, had a booth at surf expo, done college fest, hosted artshows, featured in a fox25 zip trip, rubbed shoulders with legends and the best part……made countless amounts of friends along the way!! Again we’d like to thank everybody for making this wild ride possible….We would want it any other way
If you missed the weenie roast art show you missed a great time – here are some pics as a consolation though! countdown is on for next year!! We had some great submissions all of which are still hanging in the shop, so get to east boston to check out some of these masterpieces and have one of our tattooers make a nice tattoo on you!!
We’d like to thank everyone who made it to the show last week – it would’ve been pretty boring without everyone!! And also a HUGE thanks to Zac @ narragansett, Laura @ vitamin water and the fine people @ Kayem and Market Basket.
If you wanna check out everything that we’re up to, follow us on instagram or on twitter @wavenpave. Pictures of Tattoos, Surf, Skate and all sorts of other Debauchery.
