Posting a little re-cap of our spring 2015 European tattoo tour. We started in Amsterdam at the 11th annual international Amsterdam Tattoo Convention. We rented a very nice apartment on airbnb in the canal district just outside De Pijp, very close to the Museumplein where the Rijks and Van Gogh museums are located, Heineken and also walking distance to the RAI and downtown Dam Square.
Next we moved on to Paris – about a three hour train ride through Belgium on Thalys railways. Again we rented an apartment on airbnb.com, the studio was very small, the toilet was down the hall and shower in the room, but the price was right, the $1000 a night Eiffel tower view was right outside our romantic french doors with balcony and the metro station was right outside our door….sometimes convenience trumps luxury. While we are a Tattoo Surf and Skate shop, we have, are and will be doing quite a bit of traveling. We are planning some changes to our blog. We will be incorporating some travel blog material to our site including reccomendations, photos and tips for travel and places we have traveled to. Basically documenting the good, the bad and the ugly of our travels. We’re constantly asked about the places we travel to and we’d like to share our experiences with the world. Don’t worry, we’ll still be posting about rad tattoos, guest tattoo artists, local events and local surfing as well!!
stay tuned ~WnP

Mo’o is a Tatau Master, or te Tufunga ta Tatau Sulu’ape Pili Mo’o in the islands, a title that was given to him by chief Sua Sulu’ape A. Petelo, so needless to say when you get tatau by Mo’o you are getting tatau by the best. Mo’o also tattoos marquesian style by machine as well.
Some nice tatau was done, we even got to show Mo’o and Penina around Boston this time – some fresh seafood and desert in boston’s north end!!
Mo’o is off to the world once again, but he will return for more tatau. So if you missed out on it this time, he’ll be back at the shop next time he is in the states. if you’d like to get tatau or marquesian tattoo by Mo’o next time he’s in Boston drop us a line and we’ll get the process started!
