We took a field trip down to the Hold Fast Machining ranch this week and met up with K.J. Let me tell you something – K.J. makes a nice tattoo machine! No cast or store bought parts here, all handmade.
The ranch is located on 11 acres and has a beautiful tattoo studio, sign painting studio and of course machine shop. K.J. has been tattooing since 1988, makes hand painted signs the old fashion way and of course makes tattoo machines.

Got a couple of new boards in today from Natti Surfboards and Vec Surfboards. Some really nice shapes here in East Boston. All surfboards are custom made right here in New England and are some of the nicest you’ll find around. Feast your eyes upon these beauties!! (the chub is already sold – lasted about 12 hours in the shop – more on the way!!) The blue vec is a 7’6″ fcs thruster setup and the red natti is a 2+1 8’6″ wave catching machine!
Carissa and Amanda have been hard at work making fancy tattoos over here in East Boston. Amanda did a nice matching locket set on a mother and daughter and Carissa got her asian on with the neko cat and koi tattoos!!

If you’ve surfed in the winter in New England you know that having the right gear makes all the difference. it’s the difference between fun and misery. Last June, Wave n’ Pave opened it doors to tattoo in East Boston and is still offering all the same surf and skate goods as it did in winthrop. We finally got around to out grand opening extravaganza! Dj’s Makyra and Ryan Joseph provided the soundtrack and Narragansett beer provided the refreshments. Thank you to all our friends that came out for the night, was a blast!
Wish we could do it every weekend!!
